On a chilly Christmas Day, I stepped outside, Canon in hand, to document the garden before tonight's hard freeze. As 2010 winds to a close, I wish for each of you the same peace and joy I find in my garden, today and every day.
It's nice to see the "bare bones" of your garden...and yet, it is not really bare. I saw a lot of green with a few blooms here and there. Will you cover anything for your hard freeze? Merry Christmas, and a wonderful New Year to you.

I would love to know how you protect your garden from the cold. I'm a beginner a few miles east of you in Houston. I notice I'm the only one in the neighborhood with frost cloth this morning.
